from ControllingWiki

Dear ControllingWiki Authors,

you have certainly already heard about the Copyright Association WORT. By means of it the texts placed on the Internet, which have at least 1,800 page hits, can be calculated. But our ControllingWiki is exceptional: Nobody "possesses" the provided texts, there is no copyright, neither do authors of the first version possess any. We assume that you would have nothing against us linking the terms provided by you with the CA WORT, so that the ICV income basis could be enhanced - it's in the interest of us all ...

Best Regards,

Yours Herwig Friedag, PR Committee

Join in and co-design

With the ICV ControllingWiki we want to invite all controllers and people having interest in controlling to co-design and further develop this open and active Controlling-Knowledge platform.

Quality Stamp

The ICV guarantees with a specialized advisory board the quality of the ControllingWiki entries. Erkennbar sind diese Stichworte an dem grünen „ICV–geprüft“ -Zeichen. This certified version will be altered only after gaining the specialized advisory committee's consent - an entry open for discussion gives plenty of space for further changes.          Please, let us know if you would like your articles be certified with the ICV Quality Stamp - or in case you have any other suggestions;  contact: [3]

What is to be considered while placing an article onto ICV-ControllingWiki?

1. Please, log in (above on the left) - so that we or the advisory committee can contact you

2. You can either edit the available articles or make new entries.  To do the latter please click on "create site", above on the left in the navigation.

3. Give a title for a new created entry. It should consist of no more than 37 signs.

4. Copy your text into the empty window and edit it by means of the functions which are available directly below the text window.

5.  If you want to place pictures/graphics, click on "upload file" (under the navigation).  In order to paste the picture into the text box copy the exact picture name (including the extension e.g. "  ...jpg") into the place you want your picture in; the place you have marked with "insert picture" function.

6. You need to provide information sources for graphics and quotes. In case you don't know the source, mark it with "source: unknown".

7. If your entry has been certified by the advisory committee and has received the ICV quality stamp, the name of the original author and the link will be published with the quality stamp on it. If the ICV quality stamped entry has been written by more authors, we will do our best to include all relevant authors/create more links.

8. Please be aware that there are no copyrights for ControllingWiki entries. The ControllingWiki articles are prepared free of  charge by a huge group of authors. Each and every Internet  user is allowed not only to read the articles, but also to edit and quote.

9. In every issue of the Controller Magazine there is always a whole page devoted to one ControllingWiki specialist entry.

10. If you want to send your entry as a word document, we are perfectly happy to enter it into the ControllingWiki for you. in such a case, please send your entry to our Internet editor Brigitte Dienstl-Arnegger:  [4]

We are looking forward to each and every entry.
