Practically as quickly as photos started showing on postcards in the direction of the end of the Victorian period, humour has showcased extensively. In simple fact amongst the myriad types of postcards, the comic or humour postcard is possibly the most extensively gathered. The variety of them is immense. Of study course not all people was a supporter - the MacMillan purge of the 1950's seemed to spell the stop for McGill's career. Inadequate Donald in no way did have it quite as excellent yet again, he died in 1962.

Tom Browne was another humour postcard artist of some repute. A modern day of McGill, Browne was also a businessman of no small ability. He established up his personal lithographic printing business - Tom Browne
